Top 10 Best Flash Tower Defence Games

Hey all,
I’ve been asked by a couple of people recently to compile a shortlist of my top 10 favourite flash tower defence games. I’ve always been a lover of this particular genre of Flash games for a number of reasons, one being that you can play at your own pace, making them the perfect “break” games. Well, that is if you can stick to your established routine of “1 wave per every half hour of work…” I’ll be honest. I usually don’t.
The following are in no particular order, and series of TD games count as one.
This series of (currently four) games are definitely one of the most fun tower defences I have played. Each one has more features than the last, in the form of new towers or upgrades, and new bloons to pop. I know a lot of people find the latest instalment annoying due to the (optional) paid MochiGames extras, but I love it.

Desktop TD Pro:
A classic TD – make sure your maze-building skills are up to scratch for this one…

Protector:
A legend amongst TD games. One day I might even complete them, as I aspire to. As it is, I don’t have the patience! Protector is the game that brought me to tower defence as a genre, and to Kongregate, incidentally…

Onslaught 2.2:
Another classic TD game, Onslaught 2.2 brings combos to make things more interesting.

Flash Element TD 2:
Another wonderful timewaster, Flash Element TD2 has quite amusing little war cries for the creeps.

Bubble Tanks TD:
I did not see this one coming; Bubble Tanks – in TD form! Wow!

Antbuster:
Much as I hate this game because after a while it becomes really hard (well, I find it hard anyway!) it’s really good fun, and an interestingly different title.

Frontline Defence: First Assault:
This is a little-known, but brilliant, title from Kazama Bee. I really enjoyed it a lot, despite it being really easy after a point (Perfect leakless score on every level, anyone?). Perhaps a good starter defence game for new gamers or something.

Random Defence:
Does what it says on the tin. I particularly approve of the spinning loading bar, which I think is pure genius.
